You will find a search box at the top of the home page. You can search by entering the author, book title or keyword into the search box. If there are no results found for your search, this means that we do not currently hold the book in stock. Some titles may be re-advertised in the coming months, so please check our website regularly.
What if the book that I order is out of stock?
You are unable to add the book to your basket if it is out of stock. If we are out of stock of a particular book, we will either decide the reorder the book, in which case it will remain on our website until the stock arrives at our warehouse, or we will decide not to stock it any longer and delete it from our website.
I saw a book on your website a few days ago but it is not there now. Am I still able to order it?
Unfortunately, if the book is not on the website, it means that we have sold-out and will not be stocking that book again for a while. If the book does not appear on our website, it is no longer available for purchase.
What if I am not at home when the courier arrives?
Please try to provide us with an address where there is someone available to sign for the delivery from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We will deliver to your work address if this is more convenient.
Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-delivery. How do you decide on your suggested age ranges?
We provide an age range for each of our books in order to help you make an appropriate purchase for your child. These are only suggested age ranges provided to us by the publishers. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that these are appropriate recommendations, it is impossible for us to read each and every title we offer, so therefore there is some parental guidance required to decide if a title is suitable for an individual child.
We will, of course, be happy to adjust an age range if it becomes clear that the original recommendation is not suitable. If you feel that the book is not suitable, please email us and advise us as soon as possible. What is you policy regarding children?
All of our products are aimed at children; however these are not for purchase by children and must only be purchased by adults. Persons under the age of 18 may only use the site under supervision of a parent or guardian.
Here at 2littlegirls we are opposed, on principle, to censorship, and on that basis will not rule out books that contain difficult or sensitive topics. We endeavor to offer a wide choice of books, suitable to all readers, and will aim to accurately convey any potentially offensive or objectional content. However, we recommend that all purchases intended for children are thoroughly vetted by the parent/guardian before use with or by children. How do I use the shopping basket?
You can add items to your shopping basket as you browse the site. Simply click the 'Add to basket' button against the book that you would like to buy. Alternatively, when you view 'more info' about a product you can then click on 'Add to basket'.
To view your basket at any time, you can choose the 'View Basket' link at the top of the page. Once in the basket, you can see any books you've added and see details of any discounts or promotions you have received. To change the quantity of an item you'd like to purchase, choose the number of this book What is your returns policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us in its original condition for a complete and immediate refund. Books must be returned to us undamaged and in the original packaging within 14 calendar days of receipt. Our refund guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does no affect them in any way. Unfortunately, we cannot refund postage costs where an item is not damaged or faulty. Please be sure to include the invoice with the books you are returning.
If the books are damaged or faulty then 'authorization to return' must be obtained. Contact us on 0714122402. For damages where a replacement books is required, new books will be dispatched on the same day that the damaged goods are received. In the case of refunds, they will only be applied to accounts once the damaged books have been returned to us. Please remember to quote your invoice number in any correspondence. * Note: 2littlegirls Distribution CC recommends that you use Speed Services Couriers (South African Postal Services) for all returns as it offers shipment tracking through a 24 hours customer helpline. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost then no refund or return will be considered. Why has my account been disabled?
If you have received an error whilst attempting to log in informing you that your account has been disabled, this may be because:
• An incorrect password has been entered too many times when trying to log in • Your account may have been manually disabled by a member of our team due to a previous payment discrepancy or suspected third-party re-sale activity on the account • It is possible that you previously had more than one active account, which we have merged into one account leaving the others disabled If you would like to speak to a member of our team regarding your disabled account, please contact Customer Services on 0714122402. Is it safe to pay by credit card?
Yes. The Netcash system that we use is developed with the same demands on security and performance as the sites used for internet banking services and share trading. Data is secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with up to 256bit encryption, certified by Thawte. The Netcash servers are hosted behind multiple layered electronic firewalls to protect transactional and banking information against unauthorized access from third parties, loss and fraud.
What type of Books will you send to me if I join the Book Club?
We will choose books that are appropriate for your child from our list of top publishers. We will include a selection of picture books, non-fiction, sticker books and anything that we think that your children may enjoy. We will ensure that only the highest quality books are sent to your child!
I have placed an order for delivery outside of South Africa. How do I cancel it?
We will contact you and let you know that we will cancel your order and not to make payment. If you have paid by credit card, we will refund the money to you, less any bank charges that we have to pay in reversing the payment.
